Pollinator Power Poster Contest (Youth) Grades K-12
Bats are the Focused Pollinator for 2019-2021
 
Deadlines: March 1 Only the 1st place poster in each grade level is to be sent to your District Chairman for Judging. 
Only the 1st place poster in each grade level is to be sent to the State Pollinator Power Chairman by April 1st.  Information, suitable for instructing youth, about pollinators, can be found in The NGC Pollinator Power Booklet which can be obtained at:

This year’s contest is to encourage the appreciation of Bats as pollinators. 
 
There is a $10.00 cash award for the best pollinator poster in each grade level, K-12.  Computer posters accepted and judged separately.
 
Rules:
1.  Poster size 8.5” x 11”.  Do not fold or use glitter.
2.  On the back of the poster include: Name, Grade, School, Home Address, Sponsoring Garden Club, Address, and District.
 
Posters will be judged using the following criteria:

Art
Colorful                                                
Effective use of space on the paper            
Creativity                                                 
 
Knowledge
Appropriate anatomy                 
Appropriate habitat                        
Demonstrates pollinator’s importance
